ARE YOUR GEL STRIPS NOT STICKING WELL OR FALLING OFF EASILY?
WE ARE HERE TO HELP! PREVENT GEL STRIPS FROM FALLING OFF.
We recommend applying them before going to bed to ensure they are not exposed to any activities or water.
Applying close to or on cuticle skin and to the edges of the nail can cause the gel strip to lift on the sides and eventually fall off.
Wash your hands with soap and clean the nails using acetone before applying. This way, you ensure the nails are completely dry and oil-free.
Although gel nail strips can be stretched to fit the nails properly, stretching them too much can distort their design or make the glue less effective.
If this is the case, especially after using a real gel manicure, the nails may be quite damaged and uneven. Ensure to smooth your nail bed gently to even out the surface.
Make sure the gel strips are precisely trimmed and filed to the edge of your natural nails and no longer, as they could peel off more easily.
Gel strips become less stretchy and flexible after being exposed to the sun. The hardening of the strips will depend on how long they were exposed to sunlight. This may affect their effectiveness in sticking to the nail and, thus, their longevity.
Make sure to apply your Gel Strips indoor, away from direct sunlight.
We recommend 1 to 2 minutes of curing time using our UV Lamp, but the best way to know if the gel is completely cured is to press on it with the tip of the wooden cuticle stick given in the packaging. If it leaves a mark on the strips, it means you need to cure it a bit more!
Your hands and nails should be completely oil-free and dry.
This definitely contributes to the gel strips falling off faster.

It's best practice to carefully select strip sizes that perfectly match the width of your nails and ensure they don't touch your cuticles or skin. Stretching strips either lengthwise or widthwise can distort the design on them.
Remove the strip and make sure to clean your nail bed from any cuticle, residue or oil.

1) Gently lift up the Gel Strip from
one or the sides with the wooden stick.

polish remover and dab a few drops
of it between the strip and the nail bed.

stick under the Gel Strip back and
forth, adding more nail polish remover if necessary until the Gel Strip fully and easily comes off.
4) Be patient, avoid lifting up the Gel Strip firmly as this might damage
your nail.

However, it's better to avoid using them if you have done a patch test and have gotten a reaction, your skin is irritated or you have any wounds on your hands.
Regular nail wraps are made of regular polish, acrylic, vynil or even paper whilst MoYou London Gel Nail Strips are made of real gel polish. They last longer and need to be cured with a UV Lamp to complete the process.

Yes, both sides of MoYou London Gel Nail Strips can be used, so if it's long enough for your nails feel free to do so! We recommend cutting the strips when they are still on the plastic film, to keep the remaining part of the strip with the transparent film that protects it from dust and lint. Also, if you want to use them later, store them back in their protective sleeve and back in their box.
NO. MoYou London Gel Nail Strips need to be stuck onto the existing nail and cured. They are too soft to be used to elongate the nails.
BUT, you could potentially extend them slighlty with gel strips by applying gel top coat on top of them. We do not recommend extending them more than 2-3mm. However, with this technique nails will be more brittle and prone to breaking.
